Repair Services Disclaimer & Warranty Policy
By submitting your device to Media Reload for diagnostics or repair, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Customer Responsibility & Data Backup
You acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to back up all data, software, and files on your device prior to service. Media Reload is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or deletion of data or software under any circumstances.
2. Diagnostics & Inspection Fees
- A $25 diagnostics fee applies to all diagnostics services and liquid-damage evaluations, due at check-in.
- If a call-back quote is requested after an initial quote has already been provided, an additional $25 fee will apply.
- If repair is approved, any applicable diagnostics fee will be applied toward the total repair cost.
3. Repair Risks & Aftermarket Parts
You understand that repair services involve inherent risks, and diagnostics or repairs may result in additional damage due to pre-existing conditions. Media Reload assumes no liability for devices undergoing diagnostics or repair.
Media Reload uses high-quality aftermarket parts unless otherwise specified. Repairs may void any existing manufacturer warranty.
4. Infestation Policy
If insects (including cockroaches) are found in your device, you will be notified immediately. You must retrieve your device within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in disposal of the device without liability to Media Reload.
5. Warranty Coverage
Media Reload offers a 90-day limited warranty on repairs beginning on the date the repair is completed.
- The warranty applies only to the specific repair performed.
- The warranty does not reset or extend if a device is re-repaired.
- Software, operating system issues, data recovery, and restores are not covered.
- Water or liquid damage voids all warranties, whether occurring before or after repair.
If a covered defect is found, Media Reload will repair or replace the affected part at no charge, at our discretion.
6. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- Physical damage, drops, or mishandling
- Liquid or moisture exposure
- Software modification, corrupt updates, or jailbreaking
- Improper use, misuse, or abuse
- Repairs or tampering by anyone other than Media Reload
- Environmental damage such as corrosion, heat, or vibration
7. Abandoned Devices
Devices not retrieved within 90 days after repair completion become the property of Media Reload.
8. Transportation & Handling
Media Reload is not liable for damage or loss during transportation between the customer, store locations, or repair centers.
Media Reload is not responsible for damage to or removal of stickers, skins, or vinyl coverings during repair or transit.
9. Photography Consent
You grant Media Reload permission to photograph your device before and after repair for documentation, training, or promotional purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
Media Reload’s total liability for any claim related to repair services shall not exceed the amount paid for the repair.
Media Reload is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or data.
11. Communications Consent
By submitting your device, you consent to receive repair-related communications via phone, email, and SMS text messages, including status updates and service inquiries. Message and data rates may apply.
